In order to allow our plants to develop as best as possible, we have to pay attention to the humidity in some cases, which come from tropical regions.
70-80% - this high level of humidity in the air is advisable, for example, for growing young plants, as it allows them to form roots more quickly.
Such high humidity can usually only be maintained permanently in terrariums or greenhouses.
50-70% - this is the range for most tropical houseplants. Humidity can be created using a spray bottle, water bowls or a humidifier.
40-50% - that is the humidity that prevails in normal living spaces. The easy-care plants cope with this very well.
Finally, a little tip. The plants should not be exposed to direct sunlight during or after spraying, as this could cause burns. Small drops of water that form on the leaves act like magnifying glasses and make the sunlight seem even warmer.
