We at "the plant shop" attach great importance to the quality of our plants. That is why each and every one of them is checked when it arrives at our premises and before it leaves us again. All of our plants have been carefully examined for pests and diseases. However, since we work with beneficial organisms, it does happen now and again that one or two predatory mites make their way to a new home. This is no reason to worry, as they are harmless to humans and any pets we may have.
IMPORTANT! All of our plants are not suitable for consumption and, unless otherwise stated in the product description, are poisonous to dogs and cats.
Shipping is Monday to Wednesday so that the plants reach you as quickly as possible and do not run the risk of being on the road for too long.
In the colder months, or in very hot weather, we only ship the plants on Mondays and Tuesdays and when the temperature is below 10°C, with a 72h HeatPack.
If promotions take place, shipping may be delayed by one week.
We will package the plants as best as possible and with great care, but we would like to point out that even with careful packaging, transport damage cannot be ruled out. Please understand this. In rare cases, especially with variegated plants, it can happen that they lose their pattern or that the white areas change color. This is not a reason for complaint.
It is also possible that the leaves of the plant will droop slightly after transport. This should return to normal in a few days.
Please give the plant a few days to acclimatize after transport. Under certain circumstances, it can be very stressful for plants to move into a new home. We therefore ask that you do not repot the plants for the first 2 weeks after receiving them and place them in a bright (not sunny) and warm (>20°C) place and observe them.
Should anything unusual occur, please do not hesitate to contact us.
